As a Wedding photographer in Dublin i know The Shelbourne, it is one of Dublin's most iconic city wedding venues, combining elegant interiors with a location directly overlooking St Stephen's Green and just a short walk from some of the most recognisable parts of the city.
Having photographed a real wedding at The Shelbourne, I had the opportunity to work throughout the hotel, from the morning preparations and the Constitution Room to the grand staircase and some of its most elegant interiors.
For photography, its central Dublin location also gives couples the possibility of combining the atmosphere of the hotel with a short portrait session around St Stephen's Green and the surrounding streets.

The groom's room buzzed with activity as Conor and his friends shared laughter and stories.
The camaraderie was palpable, and I couldn't help but smile at the genuine joy that filled the room.

The bridal preparations commence in room 644 on the highest floor of the Shelbourne Hotel.
As I approach the door, eager to join the festivities, I give a gentle knock.
The door swings open, revealing the skilled hands of the makeup artist concluding the final touches of the bride's makeup session.

The Details and Final Preparations
The delicate veil rests gracefully on the bedpost, bathed in soft light.

From The Shelbourne to Trinity College and Luttrellstown Castle
After the preparations at The Shelbourne, the wedding continued with the ceremony at Trinity College Dublin, before moving to Luttrellstown Castle for the reception and evening celebrations.
It was a beautiful example of a Dublin wedding combining three very different settings: the classic interiors of The Shelbourne, the historic atmosphere of Trinity College and the elegant surroundings of Luttrellstown Castle.
